The product is widely used in transportation and public buildings such as optoelectronic communication, power, aviation, aerospace, automobiles, high-speed rail, etc.
BMC (DMC) material is an abbreviation for Bulk (Dough) molding compounds, also known as bulk molding compounds. It is commonly referred to as unsaturated polyester bulk molding compound in China. Its main raw materials are GF (short cut glass fiber), UP (unsaturated resin), MD (filler calcium carbonate), and various additives that are fully mixed to form a pellet like prepreg. Due to its excellent electrical, mechanical, heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and adaptability to various molding processes, BMC bulk molding materials can meet the performance requirements of various products.
BMC is a thermosetting plastic that is mixed with various inert fillers, fiber-reinforced materials, catalysts, stabilizers, and pigments to form an adhesive "putty like" composite material used for compression molding or injection molding. Bulk molded plastics (BMC) are highly filled and reinforced with short fibers, with glass fiber reinforcement material accounting for 10% to 30%, and typically ranging in length from 1/32 inch to 1/2 inch (12.5mm).
According to different final application fields, the composite materials formulated can precisely control the size, have good flame retardancy and resistance to electric traces, have high dielectric strength, corrosion resistance and stain resistance, excellent mechanical properties, low shrinkage and stable color. BMC has excellent flow characteristics, insulation, and flame retardancy, making it highly suitable for various applications that require precise details and dimensions. The material has 75 colors to choose from and can withstand powder spraying or water-based coatings.
